How did we manage to get to term 4? However we have had an exciting addition to our class....a beautiful cockatiel called CHEEKY. He was kindly donated by Petstock, Lavington.
The students wrote a thank you to Petstock and have painted some pictures....enjoy. We also have a Youtube video starring "Cheeky the cockatiel"(click on his name to go to the website)

Term 3 already....
Oh...here we go.......back to school for Term 3. I hope everyone had a great holiday and is ready to start again for an exciting new term. We will have time to talk about holidays - where you went and what you did. The weather is starting to get a bit brighter, and a little warmer (maybe), so we can get out and about a bit more. Here is one of my favourite photos from Darwin - a typical sunset at the beach......

Holiday video
I took this short video of my dog, Neeps, playing in the creek - he has great fun. I hope it rains again soon to refill the creek.

Chiltern BBQ "Masterchefs"
Josh L, Josh S, Cody, and Riley were Masterchef cooks and made our BBQ.
First they had to clean the BBQ, cut the sausages and then took turns
putting them on the hot BBQ and turning them while they cooked.
They all stayed safe.
Everyone had a delicious lunch and used their manners
to say 'please and thank you'
Chiltern Investigations
Cory, Taylah and Luke found all the old buildings.
Eleanor liked the Grapevine building, built in 1866
Luke liked the Post Office, built in 1863

Community Access Outing Thursday 31st March
Today we are off to visit the historic town of Chiltern. The students are going to prepare and cook a BBQ then we will go on the Chiltern Walk to view the old buildings.
We want to see how shops have changed and to see the differences between the shops in Chiltern and the ones in our shopping centres.
It's going to be another fantastic day for the students (and staff) of room 6, 7 and 8.
